"I've been with State farm for over 28 years. This is by far, the worse run agency I have ever dealt with. I'm at their office at 4:30 on a Friday, and on their door, it says the office is open Monday through Friday, from 9-5. The door is locked and nobody answered the phone. I needed towing for mechanical work, a couple of weeks ago, and I have always had towing coverage, yet they made me pay out of my own pocket for the tow. They said I didn't have coverage, which was of course, false. Since switching to this agency, my premiums have more than doubled, and the first time I need their help, they tell me to pay for it. There's no consistency of dates to pay my premiums. When I came in to inquire about their lack of effort to help me get towed, we set up the date of the 21st of every month, to have them take my automatic payment for premiums. That was to start this month. They took the payment, yesterday, the 8th, two weeks early. These are just some of the issues with this agency. Update: I am now in Don Newsom's office, on June 13. It's been two weeks since my towing issue, and I still have not been reimbursed for the tow. They keep saying that it could take a couple more weeks. Now they also tell me that I never asked to have my premiums deducted from my bank account on the 21st, even though I stood at the front desk when we agreed they would do just that. They keep saying that they are doing their best, but everything they do is a foul up of some kind."

"Me and my 85 year old mother have both been State Farm customers for decades. My mother's agent retired and she was automatically reassigned to Don Newsome. Conspicuously her rate, on one of her vehicles, jumped from $87.00 to over $400.00!!! When she called to try and find out why, after receiving a cancellation notice, one of his staff was combative and evasive and refused to answer why. Instead of him taking control to resolve it he came on the line and said "Do you want us to cancel it now?!" I called a few minutes following to try and get answers and resolve it but got his voicemail. I have not recieved a callback ever! Don, you would not appreciate someone treating your mother this way and I certainly don't appreciate you treating mine this way! Coupled with your unprofessionalism and failure to ever return my call I am happy to award you a single star. If I could do zero I would. Be aware when doing business with this agency."
